This event is OVER!

Schedule is public 2018 is the first annual Developers' Conference to be organised by Red Hat in Bengaluru, India. It is meant to provide a platform to the local FOSS community participants to come together and engage in the knowledge sharing through technical talks, workshops, panel discussions, hackathon and such activities.

DevConf events are free, without admission or ticket charge. On-line registration is required though.

Attendee Guidelines

All attendees are requested to follow Twitter handle (@devconf_in) and our facebook page ( to folow the latest updates/announcements during the conference related to schedule change, session/workshop cancellation, speakers drop out etc in case of unexpected changes.

As it is monsoon time in India and we need to shuffle between two buildings it is advisable to carry an β˜” with you.

Attendees registration desk will be separate from speakers registration at the entrance of the Auditorium block. Please make sure you are registering at the right desk.

Check-in is managed using Eventbrite. Keep the email reply from Eventbrite that you were sent after registering. The QR Code you received is required on the day of the conference to complete check at the conference.

Registrations will start at 8AM. Please come early to avoid que. We expect the line will be long on day 1, so your patience and cooperation is appreciated!

Attendees are requested to save the DevConf.IN schedule page to their phone for the updates, the guide on how to get the page on your phone is as follows:

The Christ university follows a strict 🚫 NO Carbonated/Aerated drinks 🚫 policy, so kindly refrain from carrying such drinks to the venue, also these will not be available in the campus.

All the sessions including keynote will take place in 2 buildings - Audi block and central block of the Christ University. Please refer the map below.


The Campus of Christ university is a specially abled friendly and wheel-chair accessible campus. ❀♿❀

All the sessions / workshops / Lunch space etc, will be available on first come first serve basis and limited access, so please make sure you arrive earlier for the sessions you are interested in. In case you don’t find seat, you should be able to attend a session in main auditorium of Cloud and Container track, which has a capacity of 2000 attendees.

Photography πŸ“· is allowed within the session and conference areas. In the common areas of the university like passages, internal roads and campuses, we request you refrain from photography.

No WIFI will be provided to any attendees except for workshops.

Please expect low connectivity in general at the campus and note there are no Mobile charging points available except the session rooms. Please carry a power bank with you to avoid power loss.

All attendees are requested to attend the opening and closing keynotes for both the days, as we are getting excellent speakers and it would be great if you respect their efforts by attending the keynotes.

Attendees can buy lunch / food from β€œGourmet” at minus 1 floor in central block and Nandini Palace, opposite of central block.

Parking: As there are limited parking slots enough for the conference, we encourage you to use a public / private mass transport options πŸšŒπŸš‹ as much as possible, to avoid strain on the entrance gate and on the parking area in general.

We would like to request you to please take some time after the session and give your valuable feedback for each speaker you are present to. This is possible to click on the talk and then leave a feedback. It will help us manage the conference better.
